How do I monitor and control Temperature and Humidity data?
ICARELIFE provides two professional methods for environmental management:
Option 1 (Direct Monitoring): By connecting 3rd-party high-precision sensors (such as the SIEMENS QFM166, the panel provides real-time data visualization on the 32" touchscreen.
Option 2 (Full Bi-Directional Control): By integrating with the hospital HVAC PLC system via MODBUS RS-485 protocol, the panel allows surgical staff to both monitor and adjust temperature and humidity set-points directly from the glass interface.
Why is a touchscreen safer than traditional push-button panels?
Traditional mechanical buttons create microscopic "dead zones" where pathogens can colonize. Our Android-based capacitive glass interface is completely flat and seamless, eliminating the gaps where biofilm develops. It is 100% wipe-clean and resistant to standard medical-grade disinfectants.
What are the advantages of the Android-based Operating System?
Most legacy panels are "hard-coded" and cannot be updated. The ICARELIFE Android platform is future-proof, allowing for easy software updates, interface customization, and smoother multi-system backups. This ensures your OR technology stays modern as hospital systems evolve.
Can this panel manage OR lighting dimmers?
Yes. While standard configurations offer ON/OFF control, we can integrate dimming modules upon request. We support DMX 512 protocols for surgical lighting and can facilitate DALI protocol testing to ensure your shadowless lamps are fully controllable from the central station.
Is the OR Control Panel classified as a medical device?
The theatre control panel is classified as hospital infrastructure/control equipment, not a medical device, because it manages the surgical environment and does not perform a clinical function on the patient.
